Building and Scaling Consumer Product Companies

Background:

I founded Nohbo (B-Corp) as a passion project freshman year of high school, after learning about the insanely destructive impacts of most single-use plastics.

Nohbo made waves with an appearance on Shark Tank, and went on to secure a deal from Mark Cuban.

I partnered with consumer packaged goods companies and hotels to convert existing lines into podded solutions, making products that melt away and leave no trace behind.

While building Nohbo, I created 2 vertically integrated manufacturing facilities from the ground up. We made products for ourselves, and in the process, incubated product for several other brands. Some worked, others didn’t.

After a decade building the company, closing 7-figure sales contracts, filing over 8 patents (4 issued) and raising $11MM, I stepped down as CEO in March of 2024.

I’ve spoken about my experiences building and growing a sustainable material science business at CES, Natural Products Expo West, MIT, and Yale.
